Part Specifications

Part specifications define data to be inherited by parts during placement. This topic describes how to create a part specification and assign it to one or more services.

1. In the navigation pane, click Part Specifications.
2. Click Add.
3. Specify the part specification name, an abbreviation, and a category if needed.
4. Under the Tables drop list, click Add.
5. In the Details tab, set the part type from the Applies To drop list and the Material associated with the specification.
6. Click on the Size Entries tab to specify the sizes' part specifications break point and define the Max Size with its associated primary and secondary connectors.

8. Click Apply.
9. Click Apply one more time.

The part specification is created.
