Tutorial: Create a support script

Put support actions with custom values together into a list for consecutive execution and store it for one-click repair

Available in subscriptions Premium and up.

Note: The support editor cannot be opened on an empty buildroom. Load a part from a file or from the part library first.

Open support editor

  1. Select any part.
  2. From the main menu, choose Home > Support > Generate supports.

Create the script

  1. In the context view, select the tab Support scripts.
  2. Use the New script button to create a new, empty script. Provide a name to the script and click OK.
  3. Choose a support action from the drop-down menu at the bottom and click OK to add it to the actions listing.
Tip: Both the current cluster detection values on the Analysis tab and any values present in the currently selected set of defaults on the Edit tab are used as much as possible to initialize the action's value on adding it to the script listing.
  4. Modify the settings for selected support actions as needed.
