Supplier: Update an item's information

The Item details pane in the Supplier Portal enables you to view the item’s attributes and add details about the requested part. The editable fields are found at the bottom of the details tab.

Name Description
Supplier part # The number you use to identify the part in your own systems.
Supplier part status The status of the requested part. Choose from Active or Obsolete.
Substitute part # The catalogue number of a substitute part, if the current item is Obsolete.
Cost The cost of the part.
Currency The currency used for the cost.
UoM The unit of measure of the part.
Notes Any additional information that may be important for you customer to know.

To edit this information:

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Make any required changes.
  3. Click Save to save your changes, or click Cancel to revert changes.

Saved changes are now visible in Upchain to your customer. You may now have a task to complete in the Business processes tab.
