Regenerate drawing translations in a released item
Upchain enables you to regenerate drawing translations in a released item in the case where the drawing codes were not populated correctly. This means you do not have to revise the item when you only needed to regenerate the translations.
Requirements
The tenant property drawing.populate.title.block.codes must be enabled. If you want to generate the released PDF from the original PDF and convert the codes directly in the PDF, you must enable the tenant property drawing.populate.original.pdf. To set the specific font to use when converting drawing codes, use the tenant property title.block.font.override. Learn more.
To regenerate translations:
Locate in the item in the BOM table and click the More Actions icon
.Select Admin > Regenerate Translation.
The Regenerate Translation dialog opens and indicates that this action overwrites any existing translations.
Click Regenerate Translation.
The regeneration process is initiated. After a short time, you can view the new translations.
