About the Fusion Manage Panel
The Fusion Manage Panel provides a live, read-only view of synchronized Vault Items directly within the Vault client. This panel displays the corresponding Fusion Manage Item details without leaving Vault.
The Fusion Manage Panel offers immediate visibility into the synchronization state and content of Items in Fusion Manage. The panel displays automatically when you select a synced Item or file in Vault, eliminating the need to switch between applications to verify synchronization results or review Item information.
What the Fusion Manage Panel displays
The Fusion Manage Panel shows comprehensive information about the selected Item:
- Breadcrumb navigation: Captures the history of your interactions in the panel and displays it with a history of 15 entities
- Key properties: Pinned properties like Item Number, Lifecycle State, Title, and Description appear at the top
- Detailed properties: All synchronized properties organized in collapsible sections
- Related data: Access to BOMs, related items, changes, where-used information, and attached files through tabs
Live link functionality
The panel creates a live link between Vault and Fusion Manage:
- Selecting an Item in the Vault data grid displays its corresponding Fusion Manage Item in the panel
- Selecting a file with an associated synced Item also displays that Item in the panel
- The panel updates automatically when you select different Items or files
- All information displayed is read-only and reflects the current state in Fusion Manage
File selection and item identification
When you select a file from the Vault grid, the Fusion Manage Panel automatically identifies any associated Items:
- Single associated Item: The panel displays the Item details immediately
- Multiple associated Items: The panel shows a list of all associated Items. Select the Item you want to view from the list
- No associated Items: The panel displays a message that prompts you to select a single synced Item to view
The panel determines Item associations by checking the synchronization relationship between the selected file and Items in Fusion Manage. This allows you to view Item information even when working with files in the Vault grid.
