Visibility Control reference

Specify the Visibility Control settings to control how components display during Edit In Place in Fusion.

Reference Objects

Visibility

Shows or hides referenced objects.

Opacity

Sets transparency for referenced objects. Enter a percentage or drag the slider.

Non-Reference Objects

Visibility

Shows or hides non-referenced objects.

Opacity

Sets transparency for non-referenced objects. Enter a percentage or drag the slider.

Visual Style

Lets you choose a display style for non-referenced objects.

  • Shaded with Visible Edges: Renders with shading and outlines for clarity.
  • Shaded: Renders with shading only for a cleaner look.
  • Wireframe with Visible Edges: Shows edges with see-through faces.
  • Wireframe: Shows only edges; hides faces for maximum transparency.

Override Component Colors

Lets you apply the desired visibility and style settings even if components have custom appearances.
