Create drawings of electronics designs
Create drawings that document electronics designs in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.
Start creating a drawing in one of the following ways:
In the Electronics workspace, on the Electronics Design document Application Bar, click File > New Drawing > Electronics Drawing.
In the Electronics workspace, on the Electronics Design document Common toolbar, click Electronics Drawing
.
In the Electronics workspace, click the 3D PCB workspace switcher and click Drawing > From Design.
In the Data Panel, right-click the Electronics Design and click New Drawing from Electronics Design.
The Create Drawing dialog displays.
In the Create Drawing dialog, select the Destination settings.
Click OK.
The new drawing is created and opens in the Drawing workspace in its own tab.
Place the first Drawing View.
On the Drawing toolbar:
- Use the Create tools to create Drawing Views and Sketches.
- Use the Modify tools to modify move, rotate, and delete objects on Sheets in the drawing.
- Use the Geometry tools to add centerlines, centermarks, and extensions.
- Use the Dimensions tools to dimension geometry in Drawing Views.
- Use the Text tools to add notes.
- Use the Symbols tools to add symbols.
- Use the Insert tool to add images.
- Use the Tables tool to add tables.
- Use the Export tool to export Sheets to different formats.
On the Sheet, modify the Title Block.
On the Sheets bar:
- Add new Sheets to the drawing.
On the Electronics toolbar:
- Use the Create tool to create the Layer Stack Diagram.
- Use the Tables tool to add the Layer Stack Table.
Save the drawing.
