Create a 2D PCB outline using a polyline

Create a polygonal board outline to define the physical boundaries of a printed circuit board (PCB).

In the 2D PCB workspace:

1. If a board outline exists, delete it. You can use a selection rectangle to surround the whole board and click Delete.

   Note: The circuit components and airwires will not be deleted.

2. On the PCB Design toolbar, click Outline Polyline .

3. In the Outline Polyline dialog, review and edit settings for the bend type, line width and other options.

   Suggestion: If working with precise board dimensions, consider drawing the polyline with no bend type.

4. Draw the board outline, clicking at each corner and double-clicking when you close the polygon. The board is constrained to the closed polygon.
