Sync Assembly Contexts
When you or a project member change features upstream in the Timeline that are referenced by an Assembly Context, it becomes out-of-sync with the assembly in Fusion.
The Out-Of-Sync icon displays:
In the Timeline, on each Assembly Context feature that is out-of-sync.
In the Browser, next to the external component that contains out-of-sync Assembly Context, next to the Assembly Contexts folder and next to each Assembly Context that is out-of-sync.
You can sync each Assembly Context individually, or sync all Assembly Contexts at once.
Sync a single Assembly Context
- In the Timeline, locate the Assembly Context
that is out-of-sync.
- Right-click the Assembly Context feature.
- Click Sync Assembly Context.
The Assembly Context updates to reflect the changes to the referenced objects.
Sync all Assembly Contexts
In the Timeline, locate any of the Assembly Contexts
that are out-of-sync.

Tips
- In complex assemblies, you may need to use the Sync All Assembly Contexts tool multiple times for all of the changes to sync completely.
- The Sync All Assembly Contexts tool is only available when two or more assembly contexts are out-of-sync.
- You can also right-click a single out-of-sync assembly context in the Browser to sync it.
