Add, edit, and assign Appearance Themes
Learn how to add, edit, and assign Appearance Themes in the Appearance Theme Table for Configurations in Fusion.
Add Appearance Themes
Open a Configured Design with one or more configured Appearances.
On the Design workspace toolbar, click Configure > Display Configuration Table
.
The Configuration Table displays.
In the Appearance Theme Table, enter the number of themes you want to add.
Click Add Themes
.
The new Themes display as rows in the Theme Table. The Appearance for each object matches the value in the active theme.
Rename a Theme
- Slow double-click the Theme name.
- Enter a new name.
- Press
Enter
.
The Theme name updates in the Theme Table and the list in the top table.
Assign an Appearance Theme to a Configuration
- In the top table, locate the Appearance Theme column.
- For each Configuration, expand the list of themes.
- Select a Theme.
The Appearance Theme updates for that Configuration. For any objects configured in the Theme Table, the Appearance updates to match the Theme you select.
Delete a column from the Theme Table
- In the Appearance Theme Table, locate the object's column.
- Right-click the header.
- Select Delete.
The column is deleted from the Theme Table. The object updates in all Configurations to use the Appearance assigned in the Default Configuration.
Delete a Theme
- In the Appearance Theme Table, right-click the Theme name.
- Select Delete.
The Theme is deleted from the Theme Table. All Configurations that used the Theme update to use the Theme above it in the list.
Delete the Appearance Theme Table
- In the Appearance Theme Table, click More
.
- Click Delete.
The Appearance Theme Table and its associated column in the top table are deleted. Each object that was configured in the theme table updates to use the Appearance assigned in the Default Configuration.
Tips
- In the Appearance dialog, add all the Appearances you want to use to the In This Design section or to Favorites, and they'll display in the list.
- If the Appearance of an object in canvas doesn't match its value in the Configuration Table, right-click the object in the Browser and select Remove Appearance Overrides to remove any overrides applied to it.
- Select the From Physical Material or Inherited options if you want the object to inherit its Appearance from the Physical Material applied to it or from the parent component that contains it. If the Appearance of the parent changes, the object updates to match.
