Remove components or bodies

Learn how to use the Remove tool to delete selected components or bodies from a design and preserve the operation as a feature in the Timeline in Fusion.

From the context menu

1. In the Browser, select the components or bodies you want to remove.
2. Right-click to display the context menu.
3. Select Remove .

The components and bodies are removed from the design. They no longer display in the Browser or in the canvas. A Remove feature displays in the Timeline for each component or body that was removed.

From the toolbar

1. On the toolbar, select Modify > Remove .

   The Remove dialog displays.

2. Select the components or bodies you want to remove:

   • In the canvas, click to select bodies or double-click to select components.
   • In the Browser, select components or bodies.

3. Click OK.

The components and bodies are removed from the design. They no longer display in the Browser or in the canvas. A Remove feature displays in the Timeline for each component or body that was removed.
