Create/Edit Materials
Opens the Slate Material Editor with the active View focused on the material for the selected object, and the material's parameters displayed in the Parameter Editor.
If multiple objects are selected, this choice is not available.
Opens the Compact Material Editor.
Opens the Slate Material Editor.

Opens the Viewport Canvas tool.
Opens the Render to Texture dialog.
Opens the Render Surface Map tool.
Tools (Material Set)
Opens the Material Explorer.
Opens or closes the Material/Map Browser.
Opens the Channel Info utility.
Opens the Color Clipboard utility.
Opens the Asset Tracking dialog, where you can manage the status and location of map files.
Opens the Configure User Paths dialog, where you can manage the file paths that are associated with the current MAX scene.
UVs, Maps and Materials Modifiers
Each of these choices applies the modifier to the current object selection.
