Use the Liquid Attributes panel to manage all objects involved in the simulation. Here you can adjust emitter properties as well as add colliders, kill planes, foam masks, guides, and motion fields.
Emitters rollout
Use the Emitters rollout to set emitter options for the selected solver. You can also set or change these options in the Create/Modify panel window.

Emitter Icon group
Icon Type
Select the icon type for the emitter: either Sphere, Box, Plane or Custom.
Sphere
- Radius
- Sets the radius of the sphere emitter.
Box
- Length
- Sets the length of the box emitter.
- Width
- Sets the width of the box emitter.
- Height
- Sets the height of the box emitter.
Plane
- Length
- Sets the length of the plane emitter.
- Width
- Sets the width of the plane emitter.
Custom
- Add Custom Emitter Objects list
- Adds a custom object as the emitter. Click Pick to select an object from the scene, or Add to choose from a list. Click the Delete icon to delete an already added custom emitter.
- Icon Size
- Set the size of the fluid icon.
- Show Icon
- Shows the Fluid icon in the viewport.
- Show Voxel Grid
- Shows the Voxel Grid to visualize the current base voxel size.
Collider/Kill Planes rollout

- Add Colliders list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as colliders, or click Add to select colliders from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected collider.
- Add Kill Planes list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as kill planes, or click Add to select kill planes from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected kill plane.
Foam Masks rollout

- Add Foam Masks list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as foam masks, or click Add to select a foam mask from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected foam mask.
Guide System rollout
The Guide System requires a mesh as a guide emitter and a mesh to guide the liquid. It does not use the standard emitter but will use collision objects.

- Add Guide Emitter list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as a guide emitter, or click Add to select a guide emitter from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected guide emitter.
- Add Guide Mesh list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as a guide mesh, or click Add to select a guide mesh from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected guide mesh.
Channel Fields rollout

- Add Channel Fields list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as a channel field, or click Add to select a channel field from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected channel field.
Motion Fields rollout

- Add Motion Fields list
- Click Pick to pick objects from the scene to add as a motion field, or click Add to select a motion field from a dialog. Click Delete to delete an existing selected motion field.
