(Connection Vault)
The Tension Rods can be used in two situations:
- On beams
When the user creates the joint on beams, the system diameter can be selected from the options of the joint.
In this case Advance Steel creates the plate.
- On plates
When the user creates the joint on plates, the system diameter will be influenced by the thickness of the plates; therefore, the option to choose the diameter is disabled. The diameter is calculated as follows:
