Which files does sheet publishing support?
You can add either PDF or RVT files in each publishing session. You can't add a mix of file formats in a session.
How does sheet versioning work?
During the Review and Edit Sheet Numbers publishing step, we check the extracted or edited sheet number to identify if that sheet has been published before.
If we find a match, you can see in Revision history that the sheet you're uploading will become a new version of the previous version.
Can I edit sheet numbers and titles after publication?
Yes. See Edit Sheet Details After Publication help topic for more information.
My sheet numbers begin with 0 (zero) but they are displaying as O (oh) during publishing?
During publication, sheet numbers beginning with the number 0 might be recognized and extracted as the letter "O” (oh). This is due to OCR expecting the sheet number label to start with an alphabetical character.
You can try to replace the letter O (oh) with the number 0 on affected sheets using the bulk edit tool. See Review and Edit Sheet Numbers to learn more about editing sheet numbers during publication. Any automatically created sheet links will then point to the correct sheets.
Why doesn't content search work on some of my sheets?
Full sheet content search is available for sheets created from vector PDFs or RVT files.
If some or all the text on your sheets is not searchable, this might be because:
- Your sheets are raster, not vector
- Portions of the sheet are raster, even if the sheet overall is vector
- Sheet is vector, but text is saved as shapes instead of text
Why hasn't automatic sheeting linking worked?
There are several reasons why automatic sheet linking may not work. See Automatic Sheet Linking for causes and potential solutions that you can try.
Where is my discipline tag?
Disciplines no longer have tags as they are automatically assigned to sheets based on their sheet number. See Sheets Disciplines for an overview and how to create, edit, and add disciplines.
Will new sheets display on mobile?
The message, Sheets updates available displays in the Autodesk Construction Cloud mobile app when sheets have been updated on web. You can choose to sync these to your mobile device. See Sheets Updates on Mobile for more information.
