02. Does Civil 3D Connector support only English language?

Yes. It currently supports only English language.

03. Do I have to uninstall the previous version of Civil 3D Connector to install the updated version?

No. You can download and install the required version by following the steps from the Install section.

04. Why isn't the list of target folders displayed?

When you create a Data Exchange for the first time, the Save to panel needs time to synchronize and load the folders from Autodesk Docs before it can display the list of target folders.

05. Do Data Exchanges get updated automatically?

Data Exchanges do not get updated automatically from the linked Civil 3D models.

If you delete a Data Exchange, you can restore it in Autodesk Docs. However, the link with the Civil 3D file is removed.

07. Can I use Civil 3D Connector on more than one instance of Civil 3D simultaneously?

No. Users can open only one instance of the Civil 3D Connector.

08. Are Data Exchanges files?

Data Exchanges are not files.

09. Why do Data Exchanges have size zero in Autodesk Docs?

Data Exchange files in Autodesk Docs or BIM 360 are only references to the actual Data Exchange information, stored at a granular level.

10. How can I remove a Civil 3D Connector plug-in?

Uninstall the Civil 3D Connector from the control panel. For more information, see the Uninstall topic of this document.

11. AutoCAD Solids are currently being exported as Meshes. Is it possible to export them as BREP (Boundary Representation) instead?

Currently, AutoCAD Solids can only be exported as Meshes. BREP export functionality is not available yet.

12. Does Data Exchange support material mapping?

Currently, Data Exchange elements only retain the color of the elements. Data Exchange does not support material mapping and rendering styles.
