You can restore backed-up data from an active or a deleted database.
When a backup is restored, a new database is created, which contains the backed-up data.
- Go to Database.
- If you have access to more than one hub, select the appropriate one.
- Select the Active or Deleted tab.
- In the database list, click the database for which you want to restore a backup.
A Database backup page, which lists all the backups for the selected database, is displayed.
- In the list, find the backup you want to restore. You may use the Date Range option to filter the display to only a specific start and end date.
- Click the row of the backup you want to restore. Alternatively, you can click
(vertical ellipsis) located at the end of the applicable row, and select Restore.
A Restore window is displayed.
- Enter a unique name for a new database that the data will be restored to. An error message is displayed if you use the same name as an existing database. If this occurs, click Cancel and try again.
- Click Restore. The database restore process starts.
The new restored database, with the specified name and the date and time it was created, is now included in the Active tab list. This database will include all the restored data and can be opened in the applicable product.
Note: The date and time setting of the signed in user will be displayed as the Created date and time.
