|
Open Validation result
|
This option allows you to examine a network for missing values, errors, and inconsistencies. Refer to
Validating networks for more information.
|
Run/Re-run
|
This is the standard option. If a run is new, you can select Run to generate results. If results have been deleted, you can Re-run in order to regenerate them.
Once a run has been executed it becomes read only and its setup cannot be modified. This ensures that the results correspond to the model data. The exception to this occurs when a user reserves a run (only applies to
cloud database).
In a
cloud database, when a Run is reserved by the current user, the following sub-run options are available:
- Committing changes first
- Using local changes
It supports the workflow: edit > run > edit > run and it is accepted that current results might not correspond to model data, if an edit is taking place.
The user can regenerate results at any time. The two options allow changes to network and control to be committed, or to be retained on the local machine (i.e. until work is complete).
|
Clone
|
Clone is available for
cloud and on-premise database.
Selecting this option opens the run in the
Schedule Hydraulic Run dialog. The cloned run will have a ! in the run name, which you can change accordingly.
When you click the
Save or
Run button, it will save the run in the same Run group.
In a
cloud database, if the original run is reserved by the current user, then the cloned copy will also be reserved. If reserved to a different user, the clone will be unreserved
|
Associate live data
|
A live data configuration can be associated with a run once the run has been scheduled. Refer to
Associating live data with a run for further information.
|
Advanced
|
In a
cloud database, the following options are available:
- Reserve for Testing applies to any run that is not currently reserved.
- Unreserve is available for any reserved run. If that run is reserved by a different user, then confirmation is required (via a dialog box).
In addition to Run, these options are also available for Network and Control in a
versioned object.
A "Reserved" status is indicated by the following:
- Reserved by field in the Object Page of the
Properties dialog, showing the username of the reserving user.
- When a run is Reserved, the username of the reserving user is indicated in the Run context menu.
- The tooltip shows Reserved by field, displaying the username of the reserving user.
- An orange border in the icon of Network, Control, and Run appears in the
tree view when they are reserved.
|
Additionally, options for version control are available depending on the version control method in use and the current status of the item. See
Managing version controlled objects.
