Grid Report (DMA Summary) dialog

The Demand Management Area (DMA) Summary dialog is used to produce a grid report of failures that meet a defined minimum pressure criteria for a selected simulation. The dialog is displayed when Results | Grid reports | DMA Summary is selected in the Results menu.

Item Description
Sim[ulation]

For identifying one or more simulations to base the report on.

  • You can drag one or more simulations into the box from the Explorer window or Model Group window.
  • You can click the Browse (Browse) button to search for a simulation.
  • The (Delete selection) button can be used to delete items from the box.
Minimum Pressure Criteria

Threshold: Calculated from the base simulation. The lowest pressure experienced at the customer point for at least the specified duration.

Duration: The minimum time period during the simulation when the lowest pressure is experienced.

Maximum gap: If pressure goes above the Threshold criteria for less than the time period specified in the Maximum gap, it will be counted as a failure.

If pressure goes above the Threshold criteria for more than the time period specified in the Maximum gap, it will not be counted as a failure.

Report Options

When selected, these attributes will be included in the report.

Cost per property hour: Cost for every property hour when the Minimum Pressure Criteria for a property is not met.

Selected only: Allows you to apply to selected customer points only.

Detailed report: Allows you to generate a detailed report in DMA Summary View.

Select affected properties: Allows you to select the affected properties in the GeoPlan.

Produce Grid Generates the report. For more information, refer to DMA Summary View.
