You can set key attributes in the following ways:
- The Animation menu set Key menu has entries for setting and controlling keys.
- Path Animation uses 3D curves to set the direction of animated objects.
- The Attribute Editor and Channel Box have menu items for setting keys for the attributes displayed.
- You can use keyboard Animation hotkeys to set keys for transformation node attributes.
- The Runtime Command Editor lets you can enter custom MEL or Python scripts to create runtime commands. You can use Marking Menus to edit keys.
- The Graph Editor lets you set and edit keys for existing animation.
- The Dope Sheet editor lets you set and edit keys for existing animation.
