On importing parts

The extended file import dialog provides a script selection for optionally repairing parts at import. This dialog opens by default only whenever multiple part files are loaded at once, but can be set to always open regardless of file count.

In the current buildroom

Tip: Select multiple parts to have the same script applied to all of them concurrently, maximizing the use of available computing.
  1. Select the part.
  2. From the main menu, choose Home > Prepare > Run script > Run support script.
  3. Select a script from the list and click Execute.

In the support editor

Note: The support editor works on only one part at a time, but you can have multiple instances of the editor loaded, one for each part in the project to support.

Open support editor

  1. Select the part.
  2. From the main menu, choose Home > Support > Generate supports.
Tip: Once the editor is loaded on a part, it appears as a subnode under the part in the project tree: Click it to access it directly.

Pick and run script

  1. In the context view, click Run support script.
  2. From the appearing list, select an existing entry and click Execute.
Caution: This clears any existing supports without confirmation. If you want to see a confirmation prompt, switch Settings > Settings > Supports > Ask on deletion of all support to Yes.

To return to the current buildroom from the support editor with the supports in place, click Apply support.
