General information

Using the Reinforcement of spread footing extension, you can generate reinforcement of a spread footing in an Autodesk® Revit® / Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis model. Reinforcement can be generated for the following types of footing cross-sections (and the adjoining column):

Spread footing

  • Rectangular (simple and double)
  • Trapezoidal

Adjoining column

  • RC rectangular
  • RC circular
  • Steel
  • No adjoining column

You can load spread footing information from Autodesk® Revit®:

  • Geometry of a spread footing
  • Geometry of the adjoining column
  • Parameters (diameter and material) of reinforcing bars
  • Parameters of hooks for reinforcing bars.

Using this Extension, you can define reinforcement parameters from the File menu:

  • Save / Save As - saves parameters in an external file; this file may be used in the future during generation of reinforcement for a spread footing of the same geometry.
  • Open - opens a file with saved reinforcement parameters.
  • Close - closes the Reinforcement of spread footing extension.
  • Modify - allows you to edit all data defined for a footing.
  • Delete - deletes the reinforcement generated using the extension and restores parameter default values.
