How to animate in SketchBook Motion

Use layers to build up your scene in a way to make it easy to animate. Choose from three different modes: Beeline, Particle, and Grow. Remember, in a scene, you can animate as many layers as you like. You can also use an assortment of different modes in a scene – just not on the same layer. Each mode has a specific set of behaviors, controls, and advanced controls, to help you customize the look and feel of your animation.

Pausing your animation

While working, the animation will play and cycle. This can be distracting, so you can pause it.
