Manage items associated with an activity

Associate an item with an activity

1. Select the activity you want to add an item to.

   The activity detail view opens.

2. Open the Items tab.

3. Click Add.

   The Add items window opens.

4. Click Search.

   A new tab opens in your browser.

5. Use the Advanced search to locate the item you want to associate with the activity, then click Copy .

6. Switch back to the tab that contains the activity you are adding the item to, and click Paste.

7. Repeat for any additional items you want to associate with the activity.

   The item is added to the activity.

Navigate to an item associated with an activity

1. Select the activity that contains the item you want to navigate to.

   The activity detail view opens.

2. Open the Items tab.

3. Click the item name.

You are take to the BOM section of the project that contains the item. If the item belongs to multiple BOMs or projects, Upchain presents you with a window listing all locations and you may select the one you want.

Remove an item's association with an activity

1. Select the activity from which you want to remove an item.

   The activity detail view opens.

2. Open the Items tab.

3. Beside the item you want to remove from the item, click Delete ().

The item is no longer associated with the activity.
