Editing Preferences

Use the VRED Preferences to customize your experience. Click an option listed under Module to load those preferences into the panel to the right. For specific reference information and instructions on a particular preference, see that preference topic in Preferences.

1. In the Menu Bar, click Edit > Preferences.

   

2. Select the category you want to set preferences for on the left side of the dialog box or use the Search field.

3. Make your changes.

   • To close the Preferences window without saving any changes, click the x.
   • To apply any preference changes to the immediate scene, without saving them as the new default values and behavior, click Apply.
   • To save changes made within the Preferences window and use them as the default future values and behavior, click Save.
   • To restore the default settings for the selected preference category, click Load Default.
   • To restore default settings for all preferences, click Load All Defaults.
