Configure properties
Learn how to configure properties for configurations and their internal components in Fusion.
Configure properties for a configuration
On the Design workspace toolbar, click Configure > Display Configuration Table
.
The Configuration Table displays.
Click the Properties tab.
Locate the column for the property you want to configure.
Enter a unique value for the Configuration's property.
Press
Enter
.
The property updates for that Configuration.
Add an internal component's properties to the table
In the Browser, select an internal Component:
In Configuration Mode, click a highlighted component.
Outside Configuration Mode, right-click a component and select Configure.
The Configure dialog displays.
Check Properties.
Click OK.
The Component displays as a row in the Properties table for each Configuration where it is unsuppressed.
Configure properties for a component
- In the Properties tab of the Configuration Table, expand a Configuration row to display its list of internal components.
- For each Component, enter unique values for each property column.
- Press
Enter
.
The properties update for each internal component in the Configuration that you modified.
Tips
- Configure the description for each configuration, and it displays in tooltips as well as the Select Configuration dialog when you use Insert or Derive.
- You can also add internal components from the Properties tab. Click Add Components to activate Configuration Mode, then click internal components in the Browser to add them to the table.
