Hole reference
Hole defines a simple, counterbore, or countersink drilled hole.
Design > Solid > Create > Hole
Placement
Select At Point (Single Hole) or From Sketch (Multiple Holes).
Face/Point
Enables the selection of a face or points to place holes.
Ctrl
(Windows) or Command
(MacOS) to select multiple points when From Sketch is active.References
Available when At Point is active. Select edges to position the hole.
Extents
Select Distance, To, or All.
Hole Type
Select Simple, Counterbore, or Countersink.
Hole Tap Type
Select Simple, Clearance, Tapped or Taper Tapped.
Drill Point
Select Flat, or Angle.
Depth
Specifies the depth of the hole.
Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the hole.
Tip Angle
Specifies the angle of the drill point for the hole.
Counterbore Depth
Specifies the depth of the counterbore portion of the hole.
Counterbore Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the counterbore portion of the hole.
Countersink Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the countersink portion of the hole.
Countersink Angle
Specifies the angle of the countersink.
Flip Direction
Reverses the direction of the hole.
Objects to cut
Select to recompute bodies or maintain the current bodies.
- Auto-Select re-computes the bodies to cut based on the current visibility state.
- # Bodies cuts the same bodies that were included when the cut operation was created.
Available for cut operations only. The option is only active when you edit operations.
When you create a cut operation, the bodies to affect are determined based on visibility. Bodies that are visible will participate. Bodies that are not visible will not participate.
When you edit the operation in the timeline, the cut is recalculated. You can choose to recompute the bodies to cut (Auto-select) or keep the bodies that were used when the operation was created (# Bodies).
