In this tutorial, you will simulate a plastic spring clip snapping into place within its mating buckle part. The analysis is transient, meaning that we will simulate the time history of the event from beginning to end. The objective is to determine the maximum von Mises stress and how the stress changes throughout the analysis. Additionally, we will examine the safety factor to determine if the yield strength is exceeded.
