To Manage Design Shares in the Connected Design on A360 Panel - Design Shares tab

Access: In Inventor, click the Connected Design entry button located in the bottom right of the graphics window. The Design Shares on A360 Panel displays the Events tab by default. Select the Design Shares tab.

• To edit the title: Hover over the name below the thumbnail to access the pencil. Click the pencil to modify the name.

  

• To add collaborators: Click the plus sign in the bottom right corner to add a collaborator.

  The new collaborator receives an email invitation to the Design Share.

  

• To remove collaborators: Hover over the name of a collaborator. Click Remove Collaborator.

  The removed collaborator can no longer access the Design Share. The Design Share is removed from their A360 Drive.

  Note: You can also remove the collaborator thumbnail by clicking Dismiss.

  

• To re-add a removed collaborator:

  After you remove a collaborator, if you have not clicked Dismiss to remove the collaborator thumbnail, a ghosted version of the collaborator remains. To re-add the collaborator: Hover over the ghosted thumbnail and select Re-add. The re-added collaborator receives an email invitation to the Design Share.

  

• To end a Design Share: Click the End icon in the upper right corner. You can then select to either archive or delete the Design Share.
  

  • If you select Archive:
    • All collaborators are removed from the Design Share and the Design Share is removed from their A360 Drives so they can no longer access it.
    • You, as owner, can access the Design Share in the Archived section of the panel, or inside an Archived folder in the Inventor Design Shares folder on your A360 drive.

  • If you select Delete:
    • The Design Share is deleted and can no longer be accessed by anyone. The Design Share is removed from the owner's and collaborators' Connected Design on A360 Panel and from from the owner's and collaborators' A360 drive.
• To access the Design Share: Hover over the thumbnail image, and click View. The Design Share opens in the viewing window where you can view the Design Share and post comments.
