Enable or Disable the Automatic Compass Label Arrangement

Enable or disable the functionality that automatically arranges all labels placed according to compass orientation, using the corresponding default available in the Management Tools application.

The drawing behavior update that resets the position of all labels arranged automatically by update, and then manually moved outside the expected position (around the beam end marked as orientation mark for the compass arrangement) can be disabled using a default in Management Tools:

Home tab Settings panel (Management Tools) Defaults Drawing-Labeling General Turn on/off the automatic arrangement of labels by compass during drawing update.

If the check box is not checked, the labels will keep their manual position with every drawing update. If the check box is checked, the labels will reset their position if placed outside the accepted area, or keep their position if placed inside the accepted area.

Note: The accepted area for labels arranged by compass is the beam half, around one of the corners, flagged with an orientation mark during numbering and assembly drawing creation. This is the same area where the labels are automatically placed during drawing generation. The position verification is done by checking the location of the label grip point.

Using the default in Management Tools you can overwrite the label behavior to prevent labels from resetting their position if they are outside the accepted area.
