Digital Workplace will update Autodesk Desktop Connector from 15.x to 16.x version.

What Organization Admin Need to Do Before Upgrade
You ready for the upgrade when your end users have synchronized their data to the cloud. Once this is completed, Org Admins will need to perform the upgrade from v.15.x to v.16.9.
What End User Need to Do Before Upgrade
Archive all your files to the cloud storage. This step is to ensure that all files are accurately synchronized to prevent any inadvertent data loss during the process of Desktop Connector upgrade.
Steps for Upgrading Desktop Connector
Step 1: Select the AIT that needs to be upgraded. Power on the AIT by switching the “Turn machine on” switch, and a connect button will appear.
Step 2: Refer to the in-depth help article on Connecting to AIT for detailed instructions.
Step 3: Once connected within AIT, push those changes to the associated workplace by clicking the "Refresh" button. You can schedule the refresh for midnight to avoid interruptions or choose to schedule it immediately. If you schedule it immediately, members will be notified and automatically logged off their digital desktops 15 minutes before the scheduled refresh.
What End User Need to Do After the Upgrade
When you first sign in to a version 16.x of Desktop Connector, you will be asked to make your initial project selection to manage your storage space efficiently. You can select up to 80 projects.
Please conduct a thorough verification of all your files to ascertain that no data has been inadvertently omitted during the upgrade process. It's essential to ensure the complete integrity of your files post-upgrade.
