Modifying Views With Panels
Hide and reveal UI elements with a Tangent panel.
You can now hide and reveal the following UI elements in Flame with a Tangent ARC panel.
Toggle Effects Environment UI
- Navigation module
- Toggle UI (ALT mode of Grab) on the left button banks, All modes, All pages.
Show / Hide Compare Split Bar
- Navigation module
- Compare button ALT mode is now Split Bar
Matte Viewing Overlay mode cycling
- Navigation module (All Selective modes)
- Matte button now uses the Dynamic Selective View
- ALT mode = Overlay (cycles between the Overlay modes)
- No Overlay
- Overlay Inside
- Overlay Outside
- ALT mode = Overlay (cycles between the Overlay modes)
- Matte button now uses the Dynamic Selective View
Note: The Tangent ARC mapping allows you to use the new bypass in MasterGrade for Primary, Tone, and Curves. The regular global Bypass, such as the one in Batch, is now labelled Bypass All.
Local and Global Bypass—Primary, Selective and Output:
- Navigation module
- Primary and Selective Log, Video, Scene Linear, Tone and Curves modes
- Bypass (ALT = Hide)
- Bypass All
- Primary and Selective Control and Other modes.

Hide selected object (All modes)
Navigation module
You can now press the Hide button (2 top buttons bank, left to Bypass) to temporarily hide the selected node.
When an object is hidden, there is a highlight on the Hide label to show the current state.
Note: In previous releases, this button was GMask in all Selective modes.
The Tangent Element mapping is updated only for hiding selected objects.
Hide selected object (All modes)
- BT (2) module
- In ALT mode (of button Node |>), page 1 of BT (2) displays the Hide button (located with the Selective, Left and Right Reset/Delete actions.)
