    FX Integration within USD & Houdini

    There are various way to import your Golaem characters data in Houdini.

    You can export it as point cloud (see here), open it directly with the Golaem for Houdini plug-in (see here), or use the Golaem procedural for USD like in the tutorial below.

    This tutorial, made by our guest, David Raymond, Lead Crowd artist at Rodeo FX, explains how to use USD layering features to integrate FX (like Vellum cloth, or hair simulation) on top of your Golaem characters.
