The following items can be associated with a GeoExplorer zone:
- Asset groups
- Networks
- Workspaces
Once an item is associated with a zone it can subsequently be opened from the
GeoExplorer window by selecting the zone using the
tool from the
GeoExplorer toolbar.
Items can be associated with a GeoExplorer zone via the GeoExplorer window or the GeoExplorer zone grid window.
Associating an item via the GeoExplorer view
To associate an item with a GeoExplorer zone via the GeoExplorer window
- Click on a GeoExplorer zone using the link tool
from the
GeoExplorer toolbar.
- If multiple zones are found a Multiple Selection dialog will be displayed displaying a list of zones. Select the zone to be associated and click OK. The Associate GeoExplorer Zone dialog will be displayed. This dialog displays any existing association data.
- Use drag and drop or the
button to add a
Asset Group, Network or Workspace in the appropriate selection box. Use the
button to remove a selection. Only one item at a time may be selected for association.
- Click OK to associate the selected item with the zone.
Associating an item via the GeoExplorer zone grid window
To associate an item with a GeoExplorer zone via the GeoExplorer zone grid window
- In the grid window, right click in a cell of the zone to be updated and select Update Associated Item from the menu. The Associate GeoExplorer Zone dialog will be displayed. This dialog displays any existing association data.
- Use drag and drop or the
button to add a
Asset Group, Network or Workspace in the appropriate selection box. Use the
button to remove a selection. Only one item at a time may be selected for association.
- Click OK to associate the selected item with the zone.
