Window operations

There are a number of options for viewing messages in the Output Window:

  • Click the error or warning to highlight the corresponding network object on the GeoPlan Window.
  • Double-click the error or warning you wish to investigate in more detail. The appropriate Grid Window is displayed, with the cursor on the relevant field. The appropriate property sheet is displayed in the Object Properties Window.
  • Right-click an error or warning and select Go to Grid View or Go to Property Page from the popup menu to display the appropriate grid view or property sheet.
  • With a network object grid window open, select Next error (F4) or Previous error (SHIFT-F4) from the Network menu to move between the errors and warnings in the Grid Windows. Alternatively, another error or warning can be selected when you double-click on another item in the Output window.
  • Adjust the width of each column. Press the left mouse button down on the join between columns and then drag with the mouse.
  • Click a column header to sort the validation messages in that column. To reverse the sort, click the column header again.

The Output Window is a dockable window. For details of what you can do with these very useful windows, see Using Dockable Windows.
