Annotation labels can be displayed showing customised text on the Long Section window.
Adding custom labels
To annotate the Long Section window with custom labels
- On the Tools toolbar, click the
(Label) icon. The mouse pointer changes to
.
- Click the long section exactly where you want the label to appear.
- If required, drag the label away to reveal its callout line. The end point of the callout line cannot be moved.
- Double-click the label.
- On the Content page of the Custom Label Settings dialog, change the label text to say what you want it to.
- If required, use the Formatting tab of the same dialog to change the appearance of the label text.
- Click Apply or OK.
Editing custom labels
All operations with custom labels are controlled with the label
tool:
- To move a label, click inside the label, hold the mouse button down, and drag the label to its new location. The end point of the callout line cannot be moved.
- To edit the label text and change its formatting, double-click the label to open the Custom Label Settings dialog.
- To remove a label, double-click the label to display the Custom Label Settings dialog, then click the Delete button.
- To remove all custom labels from the long section, right-click in the Long Section window and select Clear all annotation labels from the context menu.
