You can set the following preferences in the Font category of the Preferences window.
To return to the default factory settings, choose in this window. Note that this resets the preferences in every category in the Preferences window.
Viewport 2.0 Font Size
Select among the following sizes for the Viewport 2.0 fonts (for example, heads up display and annotations):
- Default Font Size
- Medium Font Size (Maya 2010): Select this option to revert back to the font size used in Maya 2010.
- Custom Font Size: Select this option to use the sliders below to customize your font size.
- Small UI Font Size: Use this attribute to set the viewport font size for the following items:
- Heads up display, with the exception of Frame Rate and Origin Axis
- IK handle labels
- Camera UI
- Polygon extrude tool
- Universal Manipulator
- UI Font Size: Items not listed above typically use this font size, such as joint labels.
- Small UI Font Size: Use this attribute to set the viewport font size for the following items:
