Layers

Layers are used to automatically scale deflection results to visible layers.

If you can isolate the part into layers, you can place on layers just the areas of interest. Deflection results scale automatically to only the visible layers, as shown in the following figure. By having areas of interest on layers, it becomes easy and quick to compare results to a tolerance and between studies.
