Explanation

Ideally the faces of adjacent part tetrahedron and overmold tetrahedron elements at the part-overmold interface should match each other perfectly. If this is not the case, the solver tries to correct it internally. If this automatic correction is unsuccessful, solver convergence problems can arise which may lead to poor quality results.

Resolution

Ensure that the geometries at the interfaces are consistent and that the overmolded facets are on the same plane and of a similar dimension to those on part.
