** WARNING 301741 ** The critical shear stress xxx specified for wall slip is outside the typical range of 0.001 to 2 MPa. Analysis with wall slip on may encounter convergence difficulty.

Explanation

The value you have entered for the critical shear stress () in the Wall slip parameters dialog is outside of the expected range.

Resolution

Enter a value inside the expected range, or use 0.1 which is the default value. To do this:

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings.
2. In the Process Settings Wizard dialog, click Next if necessary until you find the Advanced options button.
3. Click Advanced options.
4. Click Edit associated with the Solver parameters.
5. Click Edit wall slip parameters, and enter a different value for the critical shear stress ().
