Working with Structures

To create a new structure

1. Double-click the blue plus icon located to the right of the Structure Library in the project tree.
   Tip: You can also right-click Structure Library and choose Create New Structure.

To load an existing structure

1. Double-click the folder icon next to the Structure Library in the project tree.
   Tip: You can also right-click Structure Library and choose Import New Structure or select a file and drag and drop it into the Netfabb display.
2. Browse for the file to import and click Open.

To export and save a newly created structure

1. Right-click Structure Library and choose Export Structure.
2. Browse to your working directory and give the file a name.
3. Click Save. Structure files are saved with a 3SPACKAGE file extension.

A structure is always placed in the Structure Library in the project tree, with subdirectories for structure cells, profiles, input data, and scripts. Elements of the structure are organized as other elements in the project tree.
