Part library parameters reference

Term Function
Baseplate height Baseplate thickness
Baseplate type Switches between a solid baseplate or a structured one made from hexagonal or square shapes.
Caption Holds the text to generate the letters for the Text primitive or the label on Mold and Whistle
Clearance to screw Increases the Nut's thread diameter from the default to allow a fit for rougher surface finishes
Code type The QR code variant; choose from QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec Code
Cell size The side lengths of the square holes in the Square Grid library part and the Baseplate part's Rectangular variant
Color Sets the display color and the actual color of the part to be generated
Count holes (in X and Y direction) Number of holes in each direction for the Grid parts
Depth Size along the Z axis
Design Mold shape options; round, oval or rectangular
Direction Models facing up- or downwards
Edges Number of edges (or sides, effectively) for parts like the pyramid
File Browse for a file to be used as a source
Fit Choose from loose, closed, or balanced fit for the bracelet
Font Font type, size, and style
Good triangles Enforces a finer and more regular triangulation than what would minimally be needed to resolve the mesh shape, so that triangle angles are newer smaller than 45°.
Handles Adds any number of handles to the vase
Height Size along the Z axis
Height partitions Subdivides the side surfaces into more triangles
Horizontal mesh density Changes the triangle resolution of the bracelet. The higher the number, the higher the resolution
Invert baseplate Generates the baseplate from the outbox shadow (plus enough padding to close any partially occupied hole+wall units) instead of the part shadow, and removes any sections shadowed by the part.
Invert colors Concerns bitmaps and height maps: By default, all dark colors are filled/raised. With this option, that behavior is inverted.
Keep aspect ratio When set to no, dimensions in x-axis and y-axis can be changed independently.
Kind of head Hexagon socket, hexagon head, slotted
Lead length Distance along the Z axis for a full turn in the Helix
Length Size along the X axis
Level of detail Resolution of part in bitmaps and height maps
Level of grey Number of colors are detected in bitmaps and height maps (up to 250 are possible)
Metric thread Diameter of the screw's thread (uses standardized parameters)
Name The name of the part as it becomes listed in the project tree
Number of teeth Number of teeth on the gear wheel
Offset of shadow Effectively adds a margin to the shadow area of the part before the baseplate is generated from it
Outer offset of inverted baseplate Effectively adds a margin to the shadow area of the part's outbox before the baseplate is generated from it
Pitch Angle of a lead in the helix
Profile rotation angle Defines how the surface is aligned
QR Code The text to be converted into QR Code (1000 characters maximum)
Radial edges Number of edges across the surface. The higher the value, the finer the resolution.
Radius Changes the radius/size of parts; for example, for the Hexagonal Grid's holes, it determines the inner maximum width.
Resolution Resolution of the part's surface. The higher the number, the finer the surfaces are subdivided by triangles.

Size Edge length of the square QR Code
Smooth triangles Edges of model will be less sharp
Specification Variant of the part
Spin Rotates the picture sweep from start to end by a specific angle
Steps Affects the resolution of the picture sweep. The higher the number, the higher the resolution
Style Choose from three different shapes of the bracelet primitive
Surface Desired size of surface, other dimensions automatically adjust to match
Tangential edges Number of edges along the perimeter. The higher the value, the finer the resolution.
Thickness of bars Width of each bar between two holes (cylinder with hexagon grid)
Thread Length Length of the thread only, without head
Tolerance A higher tolerance makes the roundness of parts less accurate and results in a lower number of triangles.
Triangle edge length Max. length of triangle edges
Triangles Read-only parameter. Number of triangles generated as a result of the values specified for the other parameters.
Turns Number of turns or twists
Type Choose from predefined models
Use only outer contours When set to yes, any non-shadowed but fully enclosed areas are treated as if they were shadowed for the purpose of baseplate generation.
Use lower limit, Lower limit Generates the part shadow only from the part section between this height and its highest point (or an upper limit, if set)
Use upper limit, Upper limit Generates the part shadow only from the part section between this height and its lowest point (or a lower limit, if set)
Vertical mesh density Changes the triangle resolution of the bracelet. The higher the number, the higher the resolution
Volume Desired volume, other dimensions automatically adjust to match
Wall thickness

Distance between inner and outer shell

Thickness of material between holes in the Square Grid library part and the Baseplate part's Rectangular variant

Width Size along the Y axis
Wrench size Distance between two opposite planes of the hex nut's outer contour
Wrist circumference Determines the inner circumference of the bracelet
