Files on macOS
Depending on your permissions, you may or may not have access to the file section.
The PIX Files section is where the main folder structure of the project resides. This files section is shared by all users on the project and is where all material will be uploaded. The level of access a user has to the files section is dictated by the project gatekeepers.
Browse the folders on your project
When media is posted in your project, it is organized in folders.
In addition to reviewing media that you receive in your inbox, you can navigate to these folders to browse media.
The people who post the media can control access to these folders, granting you access to view and download the content. The folders you see are likely different than the folders someone in another department sees.
In some cases, you may not see any folders. All media for you to review will be available in your PIX inbox.
Create new folders
If you have Edit permission on a folder, you can create new subfolders. If you would like to create new folders at the top level, you must request access from your Gatekeeper to do so.
You can create new folders on the Mac and Windows apps, and on a web browser.
Manage your folders
You can rename files and folders, add descriptions, and move items around.
For example, you may want to move dailies from the "Unreleased" folder to the "Released" folder.
To move items, you will need Admin permission on the original folder and Edit permission on the destination folder. If you don't have these permissions, you can ask the person who created the folder to grant them.
You can move items on the Mac and Windows apps, and on a web browser.
