Frame Capture on PIX 2 for macOS
The ability to take a frame capture (screenshot) of video is restricted on the newer PIX 2 applications (versions 2.94+) as it requires that a user have download access to the video file in order to take a screenshot. This access will expose a Capture Frame button which is used to capture the screenshot.
You can screenshot images and PDFs on PIX 2 applications using the device's native screenshot feature. You can also screenshot all media types on the PIX 3 application or PIX for Browser using the device's native screenshot feature.
If you need download access to files, contact your project's Gatekeeper.

Watermarks on Frame Captures
All Frame Captures will display your PIX viewing watermark unless you have had your clip viewing watermark removed for a specific folder on the project.
Burned in Watermark (Send for Download)
For any files sent via the send for download functionality, the captured frame will display your viewing watermark and not your burned in watermark.
