To measure the point nearest to a plane

Use the Point Nearest to Plane option to compare a group of probed points to a plane and report the location and distance of the point nearest the plane.

To create the Simple Measure:

1. In the inspection sequence, open a Geometric group or Simple Measures group.
2. Click Home tab > Create panel > Simple Measure > Point Nearest to Plane. A Probed Plane item, and a Point Nearest to Plane item are added to the group.
