Use the Form tab > Points panel > Evaluate from File option to import previously measured points into a section group or an on-the-fly inspection group.
Note: The Evaluate from File option is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.
To evaluate points from a file:
- Create a measured alignment.
- Click Form tab > Points panel > Evaluate from File, to display the first page of the Import Points Wizard.
- Click the Browse button. The Open dialog is displayed.
- In the
Open dialog, select the file that contains the points you want to import, and click
Open.
Click the All Formats tab in the wizard to list the file formats supported by PowerInspect.
- Follow the instructions in the wizard to complete the import process.
