Thin Client - Administrator Settings

Administrators can customize display settings in the Thin Client.

To configure administrator settings:

  1. Log into the Thin Client using an administrator account.

  2. From the account menu, click Settings.

    General

    The General tab contains options for customizing the web interface by applying a custom logo. Additionally, you can restrict users from customizing the properties headers that are displayed in the Thin Client.

    Application logo

    You can choose to use the default Autodesk Vault Thin Client logo or upload your custom logo. This logo is displayed to the left of the application title bar.

    The logo must be in JPEG, SVG, or PNG format, with a file size no larger than 200 KB and a maximum resolution of 250x24 pixels.

    Default Data Table Headers

    Turn on the Enforce admin default properties headers option to restrict users from customizing which properties are displayed in the Thin Client. If this option is turned off, users will see the default properties but will be able to override the defaults and customize which properties are displayed.

    Files

    The Files tab contains options to modify the file workspace display settings.

    • Turn on Hide file workspace option to hide the file workspace.
    • Turn on Make default landing page to set file workspace as the default landing page.
    • Turn on Show released files only option to show only the released versions.
    • Turn on Show latest version of file only option to display only the latest versions of files. If this option is turned off, all versions of files are displayed.

    Items

    The Items tab contains options to modify the item workspace display settings.

    • Turn on Hide item workspace option to hide the item workspace.
    • Turn on Make default landing page to set item workspace as the default landing page.
    • Turn on Show released items only option to display only the released items.
    • Turn on Show latest version of item only option to display only the latest versions of items. If this option is turned off, all versions of items and item data are displayed.

    Change Order

    The Change Order tab contains options to modify the change order workspace display settings.

    • Turn on Hide change order workspace option to hide the change order workspace.
    • Turn on Make default landing page to set change order workspace as the default landing page.
  3. Click OK to apply the settings.
