Enable physical properties
Note: This content doesn't apply if you're using Fusion for education.
As a hub admin, you can enable physical properties for the bill of materials so that members can:
- Track the total mass and other quantities in assemblies.
- Verify that components meet weight constraints.
- Locate a center of gravity.
- Make informed decisions about material selection and design optimization.
Enable physical properties
- In the Fusion web client, click your profile
in the upper right of the page. - Click Admin to go to the Hub Settings tab.
- Scroll down to Physical Properties.
- Select Enable physical properties in BOM.
