Predict the stress and displacement effects of building the part with the default lattice; compare with the results for a thicker lattice and a completely solid part
- In the Toolbar, click
Simulate Component.

Displacement to see the displacement results for the same model.

The amount of skin and lattice displacement, close to 1 mm, may be of concern in this model. For comparison, we can readily simulate the use of thicker lattice bars, and a completely solid part.
- In the Toolbar, select
to create a model with thicker lattice bars.
Note: The parameters for the Max selection are set in the under mesh 3 Lattice (1.6 mm). Skin - Region2 will not change, as the Max value (0.4 mm) is the same as for Threshold and Min.
- Click
Simulate Component to see the Stress and Displacement results for a thicker lattice.
