PowerInspect highlights probe path verification faults in the CAD view, the Info tab and in the inspection sequence. It also informs you of any faults when you:
- simulate the probe path.
- run the probe path on a machine.
Use the fault details to find and fix the problem. For example:
Out of bounds (yellow) — Reposition the part.
Collision (orange) — Edit the item's probe path and try:
- deleting or moving touch points in the probe path.
- inserting intermediate points into the probe path.
Unverified probe path (grey) — Check that:
- the probe used for the probe path has not been deleted.
- the probe head supports the probe orientation used in the probe path.
Note: Link moves which include sensor or probe angle changes are always unverified.
The probe is not displayed in the Simulate Program tab and entries in the Features tab are not editable — The probe specified for the selected item is not available. Check the probe specified in the preceding Probe and Parameters item.
